How it works

Four steps.

  1. 01

Choose how you want to start

Three classes for $59, three private lessons for $225, or a complimentary consultation. Book classes online. Text, email or call for a consultation or to book a private.

  2. 02

Tell us what you are working with

If something is going on with your body, message us with plenty of time before class. We'll call you to chat or make sure the instructor knows before you arrive.

  3. 03

    Your first session

Arrive ten minutes early. Wear something you can move in, plus grip socks, which we sell at the front desk. You will learn the equipment, do real work, and leave knowing what comes next.

  4. 04

    Then decide what suits you

Most people move onto a membership after their first three sessions. Packages and single classes are available if they are better suited to your schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be the oldest (or youngest) one there?

Our clients range from their twenties into their eighties, and often share a class.

How fit do I need to be for class?

Everyone comes to Pilates from a different place and has the opportunity to take class at their own pace. You will always receive cueing on which springs to use and how to make something more or less challenging.

Should I start with a private lesson or a group class?

It's up to you! If you want extra hand holding or have something going on with your body, you may get more out of your classes by starting with privates. If you want to start with classes and learn as you go, that's great also.

I have already done Pilates. Which class should I take?

If you have already done Pilates, join any class you would like on the schedule.

I've been doing Pilates somewhere else, how are you different?

Compared to other studios, Love Pilates is different. First, our instructors are experienced, 80% of our instructors have been teaching 5 years or more. Second, we are not a reformer only studio. We love the reformer, but also think the chair, mat & springboard are awesome. Most importantly, our studio is committed to the practice of Pilates - this means everything from slow flow & fundamentals to advanced movement patterns.

What do I wear?

Leggings, yoga pants or fitted shorts, plus a top that stays put when you invert. Gentlemen should wear shorts with a liner built in. Grip socks are required, and we sell them at the front desk.

Questions

Everything else.

I have never done Pilates. Where do I start?

The new client special is three classes for $59. If the reformer is new to you, you will start in Foundations. Private lessons are three for $225 and the consultation is complimentary.

How much does Pilates cost at Love Pilates?

New clients start with three classes for $59. After that most people buy a package: five classes for $165 or ten for $300, which comes to $30 to $33 a class. Monthly memberships bring that down to $20.56 to $24.75 a class. Single classes are $35. Private lessons are $89 to $98 depending on the package, and semi-privates are $60 to $69 per person.

How big are the classes?

Our studio focuses on small class sizes. We try to learn your name. Reformer classes have no more than 7 people, mat, strength and circuit classes have up to 10.

I am recovering from surgery or managing a condition. Can I still do this?

Yes, but start with a private so we can build the right program for you.

I am already active and workout. Is Pilates going to do anything for me?

Yes, Pilates is an excellent complement to all the other work you're doing. It builds strength & muscle endurance. Also, the emphasis on form and control can help you improve in other fitness activities.

Where are you and is there parking?

We are at 5044 Edinger Avenue in North Huntington Beach, with free parking on site.
